USC recognized 10 years running as a Great College to Work For

Every year since the Chronicle of Higher Education began its “Great Colleges to Work For” program (in 2008), USC has been so honored. This year, the university won special recognition in the following categories:

Compensation and benefits
Teaching environment
Tenure clarity and process

Congratulations to all the faculty, staff and administrators who have made USC a “great college to work for” – we look forward to many more years of recognition!

2016 Staff Pulse Survey EXTENDED through Tuesday 12/13!

All staff employees should have received by email (on Monday 11/28) their invitation to this year’s Staff Pulse Survey, which is open through Friday, December 9. In only about 15-20 minutes, you can let USC know what you think about multiple aspects of working here – and your answers are completely confidential, because USC will never see your individual responses. Corporate Executive Board (CEB), a worldwide leader in employee matters, is conducting the survey again this year. Read more about

A Great College to Work For – once again!

For the ninth consecutive year USC has been named a “Great College to Work For” by the Chronicle of Higher Education. For 2016, we received special recognition for both our compensation/benefits and for our teaching environment. This keeps a streak alive – we’ve been recognized as a Great College every year of the program’s existence, and have been named to the prestigious honor roll three times as well.
